I'm new at this and just trying to get my feet wet. So I came up with my blog name because anyone that has done any kind of craft and has a spare bedroom turns it into either an office or if you can persuade your spouse... a craft room. Well that is how my craft room came about. When I married my hubby 12 years ago, I had a craft room in the home I owned and so we agreed we would sell my home and move into his as long as I could take his "somewhat" office and make it a craft room. This is the room I could spends hours in and escape into my own little world. My hubby has come to realize that this room creates a calm in me that only creating can do. Whether it's sewing, scrapbooking, card making or anything else, I've tried it all. This room is where it happens!
I hope this blog will inspire you like so many blogs have inspired me. I am retiring at the end of 2016 and will have more time to share my ideas. I hope you will follow me on this journey.
Smart husband who understands a crafter. We need an outlet for our artistry as we need to breathe. So glad he understands, and I'm looking forward to seeing your crafts. I focus entirely on quilting because it works for me and it's an expensive hobby! I don't want to expand out into other crafts although I have done them. But I sure like watching other people so your blog will be great for me.
